LEDVANCE Integrated Lighting Lights Up Kyrgyzstan's National Convention Center

From August 31 to September 1, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. As the core main venue of the summit, the Kyrgyzstan National Convention Center serves as a vital window for the country to present its national image to the world.

LEDVANCE supplied a complete range of indoor and outdoor professional lighting solutions for the venue, delivering a high-quality luminous environment to support the successful debut of the main venue.

I. Solutions: A Complete Lighting Configuration for Diverse Scenarios

The project spans a wide variety of spaces, including the reception hall, conference hall, meeting rooms, press briefing hall, banquet foyer, banquet hall, large roundtable meeting room, small roundtable meeting room, reception room, and waiting room. LEDVANCE provided a full suite of professional lighting products for the project: indoors, LED downlights and spotlights, light strips, linear lights, and panel lights, along with digital power supplies and control systems; outdoors, in-ground lights as the core products, complemented by wall washer lights.

The overall solution balances illuminance standards, anti-glare performance, outdoor protection ratings, and long-term operational stability, fully accommodating the diverse needs of conferences, performances, receptions, banquets, and nighttime landscape displays.

II. Spatial Aesthetics: A Balanced Expression of Solemnity and Comfort

Across the interior functional spaces, LEDVANCE employed multi-layered lighting combinations to balance solemnity with luminous comfort.

In the auditorium, the dome light strips work in concert with point luminaires to ensure uniform illumination across the expansive space; the meeting halls and banquet hall draw on ceiling luminaire arrays to shape a grand, imposing atmosphere; the conference hall area applies soft lighting to reveal the architectural details of the stone and reliefs, creating an elegant and composed environment for receptions and circulation.

III. Interior and Exterior in Harmony: An Integrated Indoor-Outdoor Lighting Effect

Beyond the interior spaces, the project also delivered outdoor landscape lighting.

In-ground lights are pre-embedded in the columns of the building facade, outlining its majestic, towering silhouette and highlighting the building base; wall washer lights trace the facade to craft a richly layered nighttime landmark, achieving an integrated indoor-outdoor lighting effect.

Meeting the complex operating conditions of large overseas public buildings, LEDVANCE maintained rigorous control from product selection to delivery, ensuring the stable, long-lasting performance of the entire lighting system.
